A - Grade Pennants into the Final of Major Pennants and Promotion to Division 4!
Our A Grade Men's team has made the final of the 2024 MajorPennants Division 5, which includes an automatic promotion back to Division 4 after winning away at Macarthur Grange on the 3rd of March. The Team won 4&3 on the day, meaning last weekend’s 10th of March final round (Leonay had the bye) result between Wallacia and MacarthurGrange had no bearing of the results.
Leonay has played strong over the last 6 weeks, with all players determined to get Leonay back into Division 4 as the driving factor. All players have had a crack which resulted in the team being undefeated in the group.
Leonay will play Bondi for the Pennant Flag at Riverside Oaks on Sunday 24th of March teeing off at 7:15am. Spectators are welcome to attend and support the Team as we try and play for a Major Pennant that we can hopefully display in the club. Regardless of the result the Team will be back at the club to award our Player's Player awards - The Bill Allen Trophy.
